Contract

A contract in LPG defines the relationship between the Customer and Provider and enables engagements to be issued.  It is a description of the terms of trade in which certain aspects of the agreement are defined, including KPI metrics and compliance requirements.

Items

Items are the discrete, quantifiable units that specify the scope of what needs to be done on a matter. An item has a rate, a unit of measure (i.e. Hour, day) and a type (ie fixed, variable, capped) which determine its behaviour on the work order.

In relation to a user's profile, this option is used in addition to Member access, giving the user the ability to takeover any work item currently owned by another user.

Workgroup

An identified group of people with the responsibility to deal with a specific set of Matters.  Grouping may be by Panel Type or functionality (e.g. Accounts).  Only members of a workgroup will have access to matters, orders or invoices that have been assigned to that workgroup.   The user can be associated to one or more workgroups.

Worklist

A Worklist is used by both Claims Agents and Legal Firms to view, move and action allocated workloads.
